The world of fashion has gotten a rare treat today. Two of the most famous style icons had the chance to meet for a brief chat earlier today. Duchess Catherine of Cambridge and FLOTUS Michelle Obama met at Buckingham Palace today as part of the President’s State tour of Europe.
The Duchess looked stunning in a $280.00 Shola camel bandage dress by Reiss. She paired it with black pumps, matching clutch and a necklace. Kate looked cool calm and collected for her first official Royal function following a ten day honeymoon.
The First Lady donned a beautiful floral A-line dress by Barbara Tfank. It was unfortunately paired with a bright pink cropped jacket. If she added a hat it would looked a bit too much like something you’d see on Easter Sunday. She did make up for it with incredible matte gray sling backs with just a hint of a pointy toe.
The two only met for about 15 minutes in the 1844 room of Buckingham Palace. They reportedly discussed the Royal couple’s upcoming trip to the United States and their wedding. That had to have been awkward as the President and First Lady were snubbed.
We want to know if they swapped any fashion or beauty secrets during their chat.
